At PCA, it is our team’s job to provide support and services for children who have been victims of sexual abuse. Specially-trained forensic interviewers speak to the victims in our child-friendly facility where we also offer on-site therapy and medical screenings, as well as victim services for children and their non-offending caregivers. In Fiscal Year 2021, the Philadelphia Children’s Alliance provided services to 1,724 children and their non-offending caregivers.
The map indicates how many children we helped in many of the city's zip codes. The dark red areas on the map represent the highest number of services we've provided; in some cases, as many as 110 throughout the year for a single zip code.

Children's alliance
National Children’s Alliance (NCA) is the national association and accrediting body for Children’s Advocacy Centers (CACs). Formed in 1988, NCA has been providing support, technical assistance, and quality assurance for CACs, while serving as a voice for abused children for more than 25 years. A Children’s Advocacy Center is a child-friendly facility in which law enforcement, child protection, prosecution, mental health, medical and victim advocacy professionals work together to investigate abuse, help children heal from abuse, and hold offenders accountable.
